In accordance with Art. 13 of the Privacy Code (Italian Legislative Decree no. 196/2003), we hereby inform you that COEM S.p.A., with registered headquarters in Via Cameazzo 25 – 41042 Fiorano Modenese (Mo), in its capacity as Data Controller, will process your data electronically in order to respond to questions regarding our products and/or services and, subject to your prior consent, for sending sales information or advertising materials regarding the company’s business and products (for example, e-mail newsletters, advertising SMS and MMS), in full compliance with the principles of lawfulness, correctness and the legal measures in force. Your personal data will be processed manually, electronically and/or telematically, and by means of automated calling systems as identified in art. 130 of the Code (e.g. e-mail, fax, SMS, MMS, etc.), in the ways established by articles 11, 31 et seq. of the Privacy Code and with the adoption of the minimum security measures provided for by the technical regulations in Attachment B. It is never compulsory for you to provide your data, but without the information marked as “mandatory” on the form above, we will not be able to reply to questions on our products and services. In order to compare and where possible improve the results of communications, the Data Controller uses systems for sending newsletters and promotional information with reports. These reports provide the Data Controller with information on, for example: the number of readers, openings, unique clicks and total clicks; the devices (iPhone, Blackberry, Nokia…) and operating systems (Windows, Apple, Linux, Android…) used to read the communications; details on the activity of individual users; the number of users with registration pending; details of the e-mails sent per day/hour/minute; details of the e-mails delivered, undelivered and forwarded; list of users who have cancelled their newsletter subscription; those who have opened an e-mail or clicked on an individual link; users having problems viewing the message; link tracking (the number of times the links in the message are clicked); click tracking (which links have been clicked and by whom). All this information is useful for comparing, and where possible improving, the results of communications. Your data will be held by the Data Controller and by the external provider, processed by personnel appointed for the purpose and transmitted to the exterior only when this is necessary in order to respond to your requests. Your data may also be viewed by the company that manages the website, only with regard to the technical accesses required for the maintenance and running of the web server. In your capacity as interested party, you enjoy the rights set forth in art. 7 (at the bottom) of the Code, including the right to free access of your data, the right to have said data updated or removed if held in breach of the law, and the right to oppose the processing of your data for the sending of commercial or advertising information.

- The interested party has the right to obtain confirmation of the existence of his or her personal data, even if such data have not yet been recorded, and the communication thereof in an intelligible form.
- The interested party has the right to request information on:
a) the origin of his/her personal data;
b) the purpose(s) of processing and the methods used;
c) the logic applied to the processing of his/her personal data using electronic equipment;
d) the details of the data controller and data processors and the representative, where designated pursuant to article 5, para. 2;
e) the parties or categories of parties to which the personal data may be disclosed, or the parties that may have access to the data in their capacity as designated representative or their appointed staff in the national territory.
- The interested party has the right to obtain:
a) the updating, correction and/or integration of his/her personal data;
b) the deletion, transformation into an anonymous form or suspension of any data processed in breach of the law, including those for which storage is not required in relation to the purposes for which the data was collected or subsequently processed;
c) the confirmation that the operations referred to in points a) and b) have been notified, also as far as the content is concerned, to those to whom the data were communicated or transmitted, except in those cases in which such notification is impossible or requires the use of means manifestly disproportionate to the right protected.
- The interested party has the right to oppose, fully or partly:
a) the processing of his/her personal data for legitimate reasons, even where pertinent to the purposes for which the data were collected;
b) the processing of his/her personal data for the purposes of sending advertising or direct sales materials or for the execution of market research or communications.
