At Cersaie 2024, Fioranese showcased collections where colour and material took centre stage. These collections are crafted to highlight the multifaceted versatility of ceramics, opening up new possibilities for expression and creativity in interior design.
“Material Blend” is all about pushing traditional boundaries, experimenting with new combinations and creating architectural projects that tell unique stories. It’s an invitation to take risks, play with contrasts, and design spaces that inspire and evoke emotions. The precise synchronisation of graphics and 3D structures during the production process results in unique three-dimensional effects that blend seamlessly with the relief processing of the material.
This is how the latest Fioranese collections for Cersaie 2024 came to life. The Blend collection offers a contemporary fusion of nature and tradition, combining cement, glass-cement and stone effects to create multifaceted surfaces with impressive compositional depth. In the I Ciottoli collection, the Sabbia and Sassi surfaces acquire a rich, material-like texture, achieved through processing that enhances their three-dimensional and varied effects while maintaining a soft and pleasant feel. Alchimia showcases the magic of colour and material, inspired by the discovery of an ancient floor in a 16th-century Emilian palazzo. This collection reinterprets the allure of coloured concrete surfaces with a subtle ‘terrazzo’ effect, made even more unique by the natural signs of wear and ageing over time.
A separate mention goes to The_Color collection, first previewed at Fuorisalone 2024 in Milan and already featured in ELLE DECOR. This porcelain stoneware collection is the result of a creative collaboration between Fioranese and the Alessandro Pasinelli Studio. Conceived as a large-format, uniform ceramic surface enriched with concrete graphics and a versatile colour palette, it has been further refined for Cersaie 2024. The updated version features a refined decorative arrangement, combining colour and geometric patterns on the surfaces that play with glossy-matt contrasts in small formats.
In addition to the well-received display at the Cersaie stand, THE_COLOR collection was the protagonist of “ImAgInary”, a special two-evening event held at the prestigious Palazzo Aldrovandi in the heart of Bologna.
For those who wish to explore the Fioranese stand, designed and set up by Alessandro Pasinelli Studio, we invite you to take the 2024 Fioranese virtual tour.
We look forward to welcoming you in Bologna for the next Cersaie, from 22 to 26 September 2025!
