At the latest edition of Cersaie, which recorded more than 90,000 visitors over the five days of the exhibition, close to the levels of 2019, Fioranese unveiled a new stand designed by Studio Alessandro Pasinelli.
The theme of environmental sustainability is increasingly important, especially due to the times in which we live, full of events that are changing our way of living, our lifestyle, and our certainties. Fioranese pays the utmost attention to this issue with production choices based on the correct use of resources to prevent waste. It also focuses on the cultural aspect of sustainability by recovering the historical value of the ceramic tradition and the original beauty of natural stone, which go into creating sober and essential environments to help us reconnect with nature and find a renewed sense of well-being.
The research has its roots in Italy and Europe. It aims at recovering ancient ceramic workmanship reinterpreted with a contemporary vision of spaces in which to place the new Fioranese surfaces. The result is a mix of stylistic elements from the past and present for a new freedom of composition, as in the award-winning RIGGIOLE collection by Davide Tonelli. Natural textures with irregular edges make a comeback with BORGOGNA, a sandstone of Mediterranean origin that is renewed through the free movements of pebbles, and with the I COCCI SICILIANI, rocks and stones with trendy colours that give an intense textural aspect to ceramic surfaces designed for indoor and outdoor applications. With UNICA, onyx stone chooses bold tones and strong contrasts with extremely natural veins and a mirror finish, which conveys the beauty of this delicate and precious material, now transformed into practical and resistant stoneware porcelain with a vibrant and striking aesthetic.
