ITALIAN LANDSCAPE ‘VIDEO MAPPING IN A COURTYARD’

Already previewed at the Fuorisalone 2023 in Milan, in the prestigious setting of the Brera Design District, and visible at Cersaie 2023 in the widely admired Fioranese stand, Italian Landscape by 23Bassi was the star of a spectacular Fuori Cersaie event.

The two-evening event “Video Mapping in a Courtyard”, featuring video projections, cocktail parties and live music, was held in the prestigious Palazzo Aldrovandi Montanari in Bologna Old Town on 26 and 27 September, and was attended by a large number of people. Present at the first evening were the architects Chiara Frigerio and Andrea Roscini of 23Bassi, who worked on the collection along with Fioranese.

The advanced video mapping projection technique is able to turn any surface into a dynamic display on which to view bright images and animations, which engage with the architecture they are projected onto, creating an enchanting, immersive experience, especially when the surfaces chosen as the backdrop for the light and colour effects are those of historical buildings.
The ceramics of Italian Landscape proved the perfect “pieces” to create a kaleidoscopic optical effect, integrating perfectly with the backdrop formed by the walls of the inner courtyard of Palazzo Aldrovandi Montanari.
If you were unable to enjoy our spectacular “Video Mapping in a Courtyard” live, we suggest you watch the video.
