“APOTECA – Provviste Alimentari” is located in the heart of the Flaminio district in Rome.
The colours chosen (white, brown and khaki) appeared completely by chance during the demolition work. Under the panelling from previous restoration work emerged open pipes, pleasantly worn walls and the colours that formed the fil rouge of the project. The floor is tiled in rectangular-shaped brick-effect porcelain stoneware (from the URBAN_AVENUE collection by Fioranese), which comes up from the floor to the counter, creating a deliberately continuous effect. In evidence at the back are the 20×20 cementine tiles with a retro design (from the Fioranese CEMENTINE_BLACK&WHITE collection). The first area next to the counter, with a low wall, is tiled with cement-effect tiles (from the BLEND collection by Fioranese), with a top in Carrara marble, while the second is partly closed off by reinforced concrete beams that are part of the structure of the building.
