URBAN_AVENUE BY FIORANESE TAKES FIRST PRIZE IN THE ADI CERAMICS DESIGN AWARD @ CERSAIE 2014

During the first edition of the ADI Ceramics Design Award at Cersaie 2014, created to draw attention to the most innovative products in the ceramic sector, the prestigious award was won by the latest creation by FIORANESE: the URBAN_AVENUE collection.
Below are the reasons for the decision given by the commission of experts who, during the first two days of the fair, selected the products in display that offered the most impressive combination of innovation and outstanding design as applied to ceramics:
URBAN_AVENUE is “a broad art direction project that for the 2014 production added the prefix Urban to Avenue, a particularly effective element from the point of view of technique and appearance. ”
The coveted award was presented to Fioranese CEO Daniela Selmi (in the photo) at the Cersaie exhibition in Bologna on Wednesday 24 September, by ADI Vice President Giovanna Talocci.
The projects that received an award will make up a short list for the selections for the ADI Design Index 2015, the Italian Design yearbook created by ADI.

FIORANESE’s heartfelt thanks go to the commission, made up of Carlo Branzaglia (President of ADI Emilia Romagna), Oscar G. Colli (co-founder and former editor of the magazine “Il Bagno oggi e domani”) and Silvia Stanzani (designer), for having understood and expressed their enthusiasm for the continual challenges tackled by FIORANESE and its Research&Development department, which for some years now has been making a name for itself with its innovative ceramic design proposals.
